AVAPLAN

The company creates and distributes standard AVA software for the construction industry. The AVAPLAN product is aimed particularly at small and medium-sized architecture and engineering offices, as well as construction planners and construction administrations in the public sector.

Founded in 2009, AVAPLAN Software GmbH is a company with a long-standing market presence and dynamic development, with a high level of awareness and brand strength. Over 5,500 active customers currently use the software. AVAPLAN Software GmbH generates the majority of its sales with software licenses, updates and software maintenance contracts. In addition, tender text databases from third-party manufacturers are also distributed. The software is characterized by a particularly simple and user-friendly interface that customers can intuitively understand without training.

The core of the software is the efficient creation of service specifications and the obtaining of quotations. Quotations can be compared and evaluated in detail in a price comparison. For placed orders, invoices can be checked and payments managed. A project cost view provides an overview of the total costs in the individual phases of the project.

With the acquisition of AVAPLAN Software GmbH by FORUM and the synergies resulting from similar investments, the foundation has been laid for a strong future for the AVAPLAN software and the company. The former shareholders, Torsten Kiehns and Philipp Otte, continued to lead the company during the transition following the acquisition. Martin Hummel has been managing director since August 2026.
