Vero Project, a FORUM Group company, has acquired a majority stake in Syscam, based in Florence, Italy.
Vero Project S.p.A. („Vero Project“), a company of the FORUM Family Office („FORUM“) Group, has acquired the majority stake in Syscam S.r.l. („Syscam“), based in Florence, Italy. Syscam, founded in 1993 by Paolo Collini and Riccardo Alberighi, employs 6 people and generates sales of around 2 million €.
The company is a reseller („VAR“) of AD-CAM software. Its main product is „VISI“, a software from the Swedish company Hexagon AB. Vero Project is the largest VAR of VISI in Italy, Syscam is number 2: Together, the tandem is the market leader in software for mold makers. Syscam serves around 200 customers in central Italy, with a regional focus on Tuscany and Umbria.
Syscam is FORUM's third investment in Italy, strengthening its commitment to the country. It is the fifth investment this year in the European software market.
As always, the investment ensures continuity: The management, the employees, the location and the successful partnership with Hexagon will be maintained and further expanded. In addition, Vero Project will support Syscam with its network and expertise in the long-term growth of the company and in strengthening the product range by up-selling other software products to existing customers.
Paolo Collini and Riccardo Alberighii will continue to serve as members of the management board in the coming years, while Massimo Bellini will become CEO and lead the next growth phase together with Vero Project. His comments on this operation:
