FORUM Family Office ("FORUM") has acquired a majority stake in Esain S.r.l. ("Esain"), based in Genoa, Italy. Esain was founded in 1994 by Marco Pierini, Luciano Boero, Fabio Ferretti, Francesco Pais, Patrizia Bilardo and Marco Villa and generates sales of approximately 3 million euros with 18 employees, of which approximately 60% are recurring. Revenue growth has been in the double digits in recent years.
The company specializes in CAD software for industrial pipelines. With approximately 800 customers, it is the market leader in Italy.
Esain is our third investment in the European software market this year. As FORUM's fourth transaction in Italy, it further strengthens our commitment in this country.
As always, FORUM stands for continuity: Management, employees and company headquarters remain unchanged. In addition, FORUM will support Esain with its network and experience in accelerating growth and internationalization.
Marco Villa and Luciano Boero will continue to be available to the company and its long-standing customers as consultants. Nicolò Boidi is taking over the CEO role and will drive the next growth phase together with FORUM. His comment on this transaction:
