FORUM Family Office Acquires Emergency Department Information System ERPath
FORUM Family Office (“FORUM”), via its sector holding company FORUM Software Mittelstandsholding SE, is acquiring the emergency department information system ERPath from eHealth-Tec GmbH, a subsidiary of the Zur-Rose Group, with effect from January 1, 2023, into ERPath Software GmbH.
ERPath's software covers the complete process chain in the emergency department. In addition to the core system, the software package includes special modules such as triage, trauma room protocol and billing. ERPath is one of three specialist providers for this software in Germany and has a market share of approximately 25%.
FORUM is already active in the field of software for the healthcare sector: in the area of control centers via SSE Software/Augsburg and in the area of mobile mission documentation via pulsation IT/Berlin. This gives ERPath an owner for whom software in this area is a core business and who has the specific expertise for it.
14 employees are being taken over. Tobias Leipold, co-founder and former CEO of eHealth-Tec, is part of the management team as a consultant in the Advisory Board, supporting corporate development/key accounts. The Berlin location will be retained.
