FORUM, through its industry holding company FORUM Software Mittelstandsholding SE, has acquired 100% of Tiger Filtration.
FORUM Family Office (“FORUM”) has acquired 100% of the shares in Tiger Filtration Ltd. (“Tiger”), based in Sunderland, England. Tiger is the first acquisition by FORUM in England and, following acquisitions in Switzerland and Austria, another milestone in our internationalization strategy.
In 2022, the company generated sales of approximately €4 million with 20 employees. Like each of our companies, Tiger meets FORUM's most important investment criterion: high recurring revenues in niche applications. Tiger manufactures special filter elements for industrial compressed air and vacuum applications in its own factory. It supplies both spare parts dealers and service providers specializing in compressed air, as well as OEMs that purchase customized filters from Tiger.
The company has grown steadily and internationalized since its foundation in 2004 - 2/3 of its sales are generated outside of England. Tiger's strong market position is primarily based on the high quality of its product and service; in addition, as a manufacturer, Tiger can offer faster “prototyping” and faster delivery times than the competition.
FORUM's continuation concept envisages the continuation of the corporate strategy in all essential points; in particular, personnel and location will be retained. As the owner, FORUM will provide impetus for greater internationalization and expand sales. In addition, investments in production technology will be used to expand the product portfolio in the area of air filtration.
