FORUM acquires 100% of the shares in FBS Informatik Holding AG ("FBS"), based in Suhr, Switzerland.
FORUM Family Office ("FORUM") has acquired 100% of the shares in FBS Informatik Holding AG ("FBS"), based in Suhr, Switzerland, through its industry holding company FORUM Software Mittelstandsholding SE.
FBS was founded in 1996 and has been managed by Stefan Hunkeler as owner and managing director since 2008. The company is an ICT service provider ("system house") specializing in medical practices in Switzerland. With 160 customers and 1,200 users, it generates sales of CHF 6.8 million. The company employs approximately 20 people.
Medical practices require many interfaces with other participants in the healthcare system, e.g., PIS systems, laboratories, communication solutions, hardware, etc. FBS sees itself as a "single point of contact" for the customer. This means that in the event of malfunctions, FBS takes care of all necessary communication and adjustments between the parties involved until the problem is solved. This is based on a consistently customer- and solution-oriented corporate culture.
The second USP of FBS is the consistent standardization of its services into a manageable number of clearly defined products. These products are offered in three standardized packages. Standardization also continues internally, where the necessary processes are also clearly defined and based on standardized components.
As always, FORUM's continuation concept follows the principle of simply letting successful medium-sized companies and teams carry on as before. We will merely encourage the teams to be a little more courageous when it comes to investing in the future—while continuing to uphold the values of a medium-sized family business. Stefan Hunkeler would like to step back from the company in the future, so the FORUM recruiter team is looking for a successor.
