FORUM has acquired 100% of the shares in the Swiss Delemed AG as part of the entrepreneurial succession.
FORUM Family Office GmbH (“FORUM”) has acquired 100% of the shares in Delemed AG (“Delemed”) based in Gümligen/Switzerland as part of a succession plan.
Delemed AG was founded in 1992 by Eduard Weinmann and Iris M. Kunz and has established itself as a leading provider of practice information systems in Switzerland. With a focus on innovation and customer orientation, the company serves around 300 practices with over 500 doctors, dentists and chiropractors. Delemed offers software solutions that increase efficiency and quality in everyday practice. With its positioning sympathetic - simple - efficient, Delemed has positioned itself as a trustworthy partner in the healthcare sector in Switzerland.
With this acquisition, FORUM is strengthening its presence in the market for practice information systems in Switzerland, where FORUM already has a stake in Vitodata AG in Seuzach.
As always with acquisitions by FORUM, the company's location, brands and employees are retained. Delemed will continue to adapt its existing software to the future requirements of the market, thus offering its customers a future-proof solution. At the same time, Delemed's customers now have the additional option of switching to a cloud solution from Vitodata in a few years' time - thanks to the merger, the migration will be problem-free.
The founders Eduard Weinmann and Iris M. Kunz will remain in the company to ensure continuity. Iris M. Kunz will also remain a member of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Wittek - the Managing Director of FORUM - will take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
